Etruscan Press is open for submissions March 1–August 31 and October 1–January 31.

We publish:

• Creative nonfiction
• Short story collections
• Literary criticism and scholarship
• Anthologies
• Memoirs
• Essay collections
• Literary translations

Other submission guidelines:

• All manuscripts must be book length: at least 50 pages for poetry and 40,000 words for prose.
• All manuscripts must be submitted through Submittable. A $20 reading fee is required for unsolicited submissions.
• To ensure an anonymous review, do not include the author’s name or other identifying information in the attached manuscript.
• Please include the genre, a brief synopsis or description, and a short author bio in the Cover Letter only.
• All submissions must be the original work of the author. We do not accept writing drafted using generative AI.
• Simultaneous submissions are accepted; please notify us immediately if your manuscript is accepted elsewhere.
• Please submit only one manuscript at a time.

Response times vary, but we aim to respond within six to eight months.

Authors whose manuscripts are selected for publication are offered a standard publishing contract. Etruscan books receive national distribution, and authors receive royalties and twenty complimentary copies of their title.
