- Hard copy submissions will not be accepted, unless specifically requested by a member of the Etruscan Press editorial team.

- While we occasionally comment on especially noteworthy manuscripts, the volume of submissions makes it impossible to comment on every submission. All submissions are reviewed by a senior editor.

Etruscan Press is seeking a reliable, organized, and literary-minded Publishing Assistant to support the day-to-day work of our nonprofit literary press.
The Publishing Assistant will contribute across several areas, including marketing and social media, communication, metadata, and title promotion. Depending on the individual's workload and interests, the position may also include manuscript reading, proofreading, and occasional copy or line editing. Because we are a small team, responsibilities will vary throughout the publishing cycle.
We are seeking someone who is a great communicator with strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and an interest in independent literary publishing. Previous publishing, editorial, marketing, or social-media experience is helpful.
This is a remote position requiring approximately 10 hours per week, with a flexible schedule and occasional virtual meetings. The position carries a monthly stipend of $500, with the possibility of an increased stipend in the future as press resources allow.
