Etruscan is a nonprofit literary press working to produce and promote books that nurture the dialogue among genres, cultures, and voices. We publish books of poems, novels, short stories, creative nonfiction, criticism, translation, and anthologies. 

• We consider unsolicited manuscripts with a $20 reading fee.
• Manuscripts must be submitted electronically as attachments in Microsoft Word through Submittable. Etruscan is unable to accept any other formats as attachments.
• All manuscripts must be book-length, a minimum of 50 pages.
• To ensure an anonymous review by the team, do NOT include: author's name or identifying information in the attached manuscript.
• Please include genre, synopsis/description, and a short author bio in the Cover Letter, only.
• All submissions must be the original work of the author. We do not accept writing that is drafted using generative AI.
• Response time: up to six months.
• Simultaneous submissions are accepted. Please withdraw the manuscript if it is accepted elsewhere.
• Please submit only one manuscript at a time.
• While we occasionally comment on especially noteworthy manuscripts, the volume of submissions makes it impossible to comment on every submission. All submissions are reviewed by a senior editor.
• Etruscan Press values your privacy. Your personal information will be kept confidential. It will never be sold to third parties. It will only be used for communications related to the services provided by Etruscan Press.
• Hard copy submissions will not be accepted, unless specifically requested by a member of the Etruscan Press editorial team.
